Nina Flagg Bio (www.ninaflagg.com)
Nina Flagg is a California native who attended Los Angeles County High School for the
Arts and obtained her B.A. in Sociology from UCLA in 2001. Soon after, she went on to
tour as a principal dancer with the Philadelphia based Hip-Hop dance company Rennie
In 2007, Nina began working with renowned dancer and choreographer Toni Basil as
an assistant choreographer for Bette Midler’s The Showgirl Must Go On. Nina
continued on as a part of Basil’s creative team for Tina Turner’s World Tour.
Nina has been on faculty for the dance departments of UCLA, Cal Arts and Connecticut
College. She has worked with such artists as Prince, Tina Turner, Bette Midler, Stevie
Wonder, Will Smith, Chris Brown and J Balvin. Her choreography has been featured on
the Grammy Awards, the TV Land Awards, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
Her television appearances include The 63rd Annual Academy Awards, The Today
Show and Goodmorning America.
